Robert and his wife live in a small coastal town called Palm beach on the Kwazulu-Natal South Coast with their son and daughter. Robert Bauchop is one of the most incredible bladesmiths, who first started his interest and training under his father Peter Bauchop.  Robert has also taught his wife Karen the intricate art of knifemaking.

Peter, also adds to the talented family workshop whose knives take pride of place in many collectors' cabinets.

Robert achieved a name for himself as a highly skilled and immensely talented artist in his field.

A one piece exquisitely designed neck knife with brown leather sheath capable of being hung from a belt or neck. The blades design superb with a slightly curved spine incorporating a deep finger groove. The overall appearance is slender, the blade is hollow ground adding to functionality, handling and maintaining an incredibly well balanced blade.
