Maker of blade is Richards of Sheffield and blade is engraved with their name and a lamppost logo. The handle is stamped with Dixon, and it is assumed that Dixon's of Sheffield have made the handle. Handle looks like mother of pearl, but is most likely celluloid /faux pearl as Richards specialised in celluloid in this period.
