Look at the handle. Bocote exotic hardwood, hand-contoured to fit the palm like it was grown there. No cheap fillers or machine-milled parts here. The nickel silver hilt, Duralumin butt cap, and layered black/red fibre spacers are classic Hattori touches—balanced, bold, and beautifully understated.

Not every knife in this series includes the butt cap nut (Serial No.41 to No.61 do not come with the Butt Cap Nut).   That’s what makes Serial No. 59 particularly rare—one of only a few with this unique feature.
