The Buck Alpha Rubber BU-279BK features an 8.8 cm drop point blade made of 420HC stainless steel. The blade is equipped with a jimped spine and a thumb stud for one-hand opening.
The contoured stainless steel handle measures 12.7 cm when closed. It consists of glass-reinforced Polypropylene and Santoprene rubber handle slabs. The knife also includes a liner lock and a lanyard hole.
A leather belt pouch is supplied with this Buck knife. The Alpha Hunter, with its drop point blade and rubber handle, has an overall length of 21.5 cm and weighs 226 grams.
