Fairbairn Sykes 1st pattern Commando Knife - Commemorative Edition with Booklet and Leather Sheath
The knife is proudly made by Sheffield craftsmen and has been painstakingly recreated from samples taken from the first production batch in 1940 and by delving deep into The history of the commando knife. All the familiar first pattern features, as specified by Fairbairn and Sykes, are present - the characteristic flat ricasso, which is marked using traditional deep acid-etching; the instantly recognisable "s-shaped" cross-guard and the grip knurled with the distinctive chequered pattern.
A Pre-owned knife, with no signs of use or sharpening. Complete with presentation booklet, Certificate and presentation box. A lovely model for any collection.
