Samuel Seeds Ivorine Handle Bowie Knife – 27cm blade

This is a excellent example of a top quality, British made bowie knife by Samuel Seeds of Sheffield. The handle is genuine ivorine and the 27cm blade is stamped “Samuel Seeds Sheffield England” and dated 1834. Although this knife is dated 1834, we estimate that it was actually manufactured in the early 20th century. From our research we have discovered that this is one of only three knives made by Samuel Seeds of Sheffield after 1891. Some slight pitting on blade.
