Stuart Truelove Skinner/Bowie with a Buffalo Horn Handle – No Sheath

A Stuart Truelove Bowie in good condition with a clip point blade and plain 5.5mm spine.

The knife has a blade length of 23cm to the choil, with an overall length of just over 36.5cm.

The handle is crafted from Buffalo Horn onlays with handmade steel & brass rivets. Positive brass finger guard with a stamped recasso 'TRUELOVE CRABTREE WORKS SHEFFIELD' and to the reverse of the ricasso Guaranteed Hand Forged. The front of the blade is nicely engraved with scrollwork emcompassing the Stag logo and Stuart Truelove above. Sheffield England to the right of the scrollwork.

A superbly crafted full tang Bowie knife as we would expect from this Sheffield maker.

A Pre-owned knife from a private collection - a super collectors or utillity knife with little sign of use or sharpening.The waxing of the blade remains intact from the preious owner.

Please note there is no sheath with this knife - It will be supplied in a card sleeve for protection. The knife is supplied with an original Crabtree Works product introduction sheet - not particularly good condition, even so, a collectors item in it's own right.
