Introduction.

The Dartmoor combination survival knife is designed to perform in the worlds most demanding environments, from the tropics to the arctic. It is engineered with functionality in mind – whether you are felling, lopping, chopping, splitting, notching, cutting, drilling, shaving, hacking, carving, skinning ….. basically, whatever you need to do to survive.

The knifes design draws directly on research, observation and testing in the field.

Specification

The Dartmoor Knife’s design and specification considers weight and balance to provide a diversity of functions. The blade is hardened and tempered for optimum edge retention and toughness; the saw profile along the spine of the blade provides effective sawing or notching; and the spear-point allows for piercing and boring actions.

The Dartmoor Handle

Made from a combination of High-grade materials, the handle is extremely durable, can be cleaned easily and provides cushioning of the hand and wrist during prolonged periods of knife use. The handle doubles as a chamber to store survival equipment. Simply release the spring lever locking nut to access the survival kit.

The Dartmoor Scabbard

The scabbard is designed for left or right handed use and can be strapped across the chest, the waist and leg or attached to a rucksack or vehicle. Even hanging upside down, the shock-cord safety strap holds the knife securely, and can be engaged or released effortlessly. A drain hole and multiple hanging points enable easy cleaning and drying of the scabbard.
